Buddha Education Ten Good Deeds (ten Kushal)
1. Panatipata Birati ---Prani hinsa nagarnu (dont harm or kill
animals)
2. Adinnadana Birati --- Chori Nagarnu Donot steal
2. Adinnadana Birati --- Chori Nagarnu Donot steal
3. Kamesu Mechachara Birati --- parapurus wa parastri gaman
nagarnu Donot elope other person or girl.
4. Musawada Biratee --- Jhuto nabolnu (donot tell lie)
5. Pisurnabacha Birati--- Chukli nagarnu
6. Pharusnabacha Biratee--- kada bachan nagarnu ( donot use
hard words )
7. Samphalap Biratee--- Bikar ko kura nagarnu(dont gossip
unrelated things )
8. AnnaBhijha --- lov nagarnu
9. ABBiyapad --Krod nagarnu, Dwesh nagarnu(donot be angry )
10. SammaDwid -- Samyakdistri, sahi bichar garnu (Think of
good)
These ten good deeds are called ten wholesome deeds. In
mahimanikaya sammaditthi sutta,selekhaya sutta,anguttara nikaya's ten nipata
and in other places lord Buddha has described about these ten wholesome deeds
in following various ways.
Abstain from killing living beings. One should be kind
towards all beingsone should strive for pure livelihood. Be it jungle or
village one should abstain from stealing from other one should abstain from
wrong view of sexual misconduct. One should not from eloping other person or
girl. One should abstain from telling lies. One should be truthful wherever one
goes if one goes to meeting, friends circle, and king’s assembly one should
always speak what is seen as seen and what is known as known. One should
knowingly tell lies in pursue of gaining worldly things for oneself and other. One
should abstain from backbiting, useless talk and slandering. One should always
use good words that brings unity are the people. One should not speak the harsh
words. One should speak the words that are pleasant to hear to the listener,
which makes one's heart light, which is nice, lovable and modest. One should
speak that is meaningful, tactful, and right. These are three actions done by speech.
One should be free from lustful nature. One should not lookup on other property
with lusting should not have ill will and hatred towards other beings. One
should not be allied towards others. One should always wish other's mental and
physical willfulness, peacefulness and happiness. Likewise one should believe
one's action and the result brings by that action. One who does these ten unwholesome action are bound to get
bad result in this and other world.that is why these ten unwholesome action are
called adhamma,anartha. One that is good should be taken as good and that is
bad should be taken as bad. These ten unwholesome action are sadhu (bad), anarya(not
serve the ariya), saasava(that give rise to asava), giver of suffering, resultant
of suffering. These action are called maarga asadhamma,themma that should not
be practice and increase, that dhhamma that cannot be realized . One should not
mingle with those who do these ten akusalas. One who commits these ten akusalas
is reborn in hell and abstains from killing etc. These ten wholesome actions
are kusalas. Ten wholesome action are called
ariya,nirdosaa,apachayagami,atapaniya,sukhadakayaka,sukhavipaka dhamma.
wholesome action are also called aariysmarg,sukla marga,sadhamma, sapurissa
dhamma,the dhamma that should be practiced ,the dhamma that should be followed,
the dhamma that should be practiced, the dhamma that should be increase, the
dhamma that should be realized.
One should mingle with ten kusala. One should serve, worship
these ten Good Deeds
